The reason we started this business was to help pay the hospital bills for our daughter who suffered from Immune thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), an autoimmune disease that causes the destruction of blood platelets, which are essential for normal blood clotting. After losing our daughter on 9/4/17, we have set a new goal: raising money to help find a cure for this terrible disease. As soon as we find a suitable and reliable research facility that specializes in ITP, we will add a donation option to the website.
